Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 23, 2026
This policy explains how Canora Premium billing, cancellations and refunds work. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions.

1. Subscriptions and billing

Canora Premium is an optional paid subscription billed on a recurring monthly basis in Canadian dollars (CAD). When you subscribe, you authorise Canora and our payment processor, Stripe, to charge your payment method the then-current price at the start of each billing period until you cancel. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled.

2. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time from within Canora using Manage subscription on your dashboard, which opens your secure Stripe billing portal. From there you can cancel your plan, update your payment method and view invoices.

3. Refunds

Canora does not offer automatic or guaranteed refunds for subscription fees, including for partial or unused portions of a billing period. However, we understand that circumstances vary, and we consider refund requests individually, on a case-by-case basis, at our reasonable discretion - for example, in the event of a clear billing error or a duplicate charge.

To request a refund, contact us at chuckleomac@gmail.com within a reasonable time of the charge, including the email address on your account and a brief explanation of your request. We aim to respond within a few business days. Any refund that is granted is issued to the original payment method.

Where required by applicable consumer-protection law in your province or territory, nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you may have by law.

4. Failed or disputed payments

If a recurring payment fails, we (via Stripe) may retry the charge. If payment cannot be collected, your Premium subscription may be paused or cancelled and your account returned to the free plan.

5. Price changes

We may change the price of Canora Premium in the future. If we do, we will give you reasonable advance notice, and any change will apply from your next billing period. You can cancel before the change takes effect if you do not wish to continue.

6. Free plan

Canora's free plan has no charges and therefore nothing to cancel or refund. You can stop using it at any time.

7. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, consistent with our Terms & Conditions.
